Employees who do government work are being informed of the good news that it has been decided to take a holiday on Thursday, December 25, 2025, on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
A formal notification of the government has also been issued for this. Apart from this, there is good news for the students that they will also have a holiday from December 25 to 26. The holiday on December 26 is only for the students of the Christian community.
Which Students Have a Holiday on December 26?
Only those students who belong to the Christian community will have a holiday on December 26 because their Christmas Day is celebrated, due to which the government has decided that Christian students should be given a holiday on December 26. Therefore, educational institutions for the Christian community will remain closed on December 26.

Purpose of making December 25 a Holiday
There is also good news for government employees who are associated with the government sector that the government has issued a regular holiday notification on December 25. The main purpose of declaring December 25 as a holiday is to celebrate the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. For this reason, it has been decided to keep the institutions completely closed on December 25 and a regular holiday notification has also been given for government workers.
